The UP GRADE for the 2005 season is represented by the new carbon fibre rear triangle, chosen for its strong and elegant looking that better match the Tommasini custom steel tubing, originating a jewel more unique than rare, that joins technical characteristics, handwork skills and a modern look of absolutely high levels.
The decision to continue to invest on steel is not only dictate by courage, but it digs its roots on extremely solid bases, first of all the skills that the technicians of the Tommasini laboratory to work this noble material as nobody else in the World, and also thanks to the success from the public and the preference testified by the numerous supporters worldwide.
The tubing used to construct the frame is the customized Dedacciai EOM 16.5.
As per the other tubings, the selection of the shape of the tubes derives from the technical need to preserve the rigidity eliminating the negative road shocks, reducing the risk of cracks of lightweight tubings. The choice of the tubings derives from the need to get diameter similar to the ones used for an aluminium of carbon fibre frame, for a more aggressive and modern looking, with a controlled weight and a guaranteed resistance.

EOM 16.5 by Dedacciai joins all these characteristics allow the possibility to realize a frame with a 35mm. seat tube and top tube, 44mm. down tube, keeping a weight of approx. 1.5kg. The chain stays are monobox to ensure greater compactness and rigidity at the bottom bracket shell, granting the top sprint performance possible!
The customized head tube is obviously for the hiddenset system, the rear aluminium dropouts are completely replaceable!

Being the tubes extremely thin, in order avoid oxidation, the frame is protected by a special treatment called "cataforesi", made before painting. As usual latest details are not neglected, for this reason the gear bosses are brazed on the head tube and are endowed of special adjustment gear springs, and on the head tube is fixed a special enamelled Logo metal badge.
