EVOL '06 is one of the most important news of the 2006 Tommasini collection. It is a full carbon frame built with DEDACCIAI tubing that can be customized according to rider's body measurements.
The main characteristic of the frame derives from the external lugs that in this occasion are hand shaped into Irio's Tommasini factory laboratory, and reproducing the stylized "T" logo.
With this kind of hand work, that we already introduced in 2005 on the CARBOFIRE steel frame, Irio Tommasini wants to confirm the craftsmanship of his production, and the capacity to personalize his frames for the advantage of the customers that still look for something original and exclusive, sailing, unfortunately, in a moment of globalization of the markets and of the products, too.
In this sense, the choice to bring this personalization on different materials is motivated, and therefore they are realized on steel, on the CARBOFIRE frame, on aluminum, on CARBOLIGHT, and also on carbon fibre, on EVOL '06.
The assembly of the monocoque modules, tubes and lugs, is made with the maximum care, and accordingly with the best Tommasini tradition, carbon tubes are mitered to realize the "perfect joint" that grants resistance to road shocks. The assembly needs many hours of consolidation that is completely respected.
For this reason, the dime with the held frame are brought together into an oven where the one-component sealants are dried properly to ensure the maximum lifetime to the frame.
Final finishing includes aluminum pantograph replaceable rear dropouts. Colors and paint jobs can be chosen among the list and examples in our catalogue, we also offer customized paint designs.
